Two people were arrested Friday morning in connection with the neglect and death of an older woman, and police are still searching for a third suspect, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office announced.
Massachusetts State Police arrested Eva Fontes Cardoso, 53, and Lisa Hamilton, 64 Friday. Investigators are still looking for Kayla Cardoso, 31, Beth Stone, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office, wrote in an email.
Prosecutors say all three participated in a scheme to steal from the Medicare program.
