AGAWAM – The Westfield Little League 10-Year-Old All-Stars continued to beat the heat … and their opponents.
Westfield exploded for 16 runs in defeating Agawam on the road Wednesday night, 16-2. The Whip City’s All-Stars broke open the game with a 10-run fifth inning.
Colton Rowe led Westfield at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBIs. Romeo DeFilipi (double, run, two RBIs) and Colin Smith (run, three RBIs) collected two hits apiece. Hunter Werman (two walks, two runs, two RBIs), Ben Davenport (two walks, two runs, RBI), and Jared LeCours (run, RBI) each had one hit.
