LONGMEADOW – The Longmeadow (Westfield co-op) girls ice hockey team is going through some growing pains, but the Lancers hope to emerge the other side the victor.
After a season opening 7-0 loss to Haverhill at Smead Arena, Longmeadow battled before finally falling to Winchester, 2-1, Saturday on the road.
