Patel, Christie Pearce Rampone, Jussie Smollett and Nick Young.

What is “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” about?

In this unique series, celebrity recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities’ deepest and truest character.

New this season, some recruits will arrive in pairs consisting of spouses and family members, but will compete individually.

The training exercises are led by Directing Staff (DS) agents Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and Jovon “Q” Quarles, an elite team of ex-special forces operatives.

The only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents, according to a description from FuboTV.

So far this season, seven of the recruits have already gone home. Brittany Cartwright, Eva Marcille, Jussie Smollett, Nick Young, Johnny Manziel, Ravi V. Patel and Teresa Giudice. Brittany left in episode one after feeling too exhausted to continue. Eva Marcille was told by the agents to go home due to health reasons after nearly drowning in episode two. Teresa Giudice volunteered to go home just before her daughter, Gia, was about to fight in the milling challenge in episode two and said, “she didn’t want to see her daughter in a vulnerable position” and was afraid of how she might react to that. Jussie Smollett developed a cough that created lung issues and caused him to be eliminated from the show out of concern for his health.

In episode six, “The recruits are split into teams and must sidestep along a 165-foot stretch of rope suspended above a canyon floor. The recruits must fight to get a ball over the opposition’s goal line.”
