Popular celebrity chef Bobby Flay confirmed on his social media last week that “Holiday Throwdown,” the festive spin-off of “Beat Bobby Flay,” will return for its fourth season later this year.
Flay was answering questions about “Beat Bobby Flay” on his Instagram and a fan asked, “Are you having another season of ”Beat Bobby Flay” holiday special this year?” He responded, “Yes, Holiday Beat is coming back. It’s always a blast.”
The fan-favorite holiday edition of his show features chefs and celebrity guests tackling holiday cooking challenges across three intense rounds. Past guests include Ina Garten and Duff Goldman.
The specialty show first debuted back in 2022 and typically airs about six episodes each year.
“Holiday Throwdown” differs from “Beat Bobby Flay” because it forces competitors to face their worst holiday nightmares in hour-long episodes. In “Beat Bobby Flay,” each half-hour episode features two talented chefs going head-to-head for the chance to beat Bobby Flay.
The official premiere date for season four hasn’t been announced yet, but viewers can stream past seasons of the show now while they wait for the new season. “Beat Bobby Flay” also airs new episodes every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET on the Food Network.
