Parks and Recreation Commission discuss Whalley Park pickleball courts project

SOUTHWICK — Five months after Town Meeting voted to approve funding to build six pickleball courts at Whalley Park, the project is slowly coming together.

“We got approved funding back in May, so it’s five months, a while ago, and it doesn’t seem to have moved along very, very quickly, or at all. Unless I’m missing something. That’s why I’m asking” said Randy White, who is not a member of the commission but has been volunteering his time to help with the project.
