NYPD Officers Pummeled by Gang of Migrants, DA Releases All Attackers Without Bail

By Stephen Owsinski

A duo of NYPD police officers (one a lieutenant) attired in unmistakable NYPD blue uniforms were barbarically pummeled by a gang of migrants in broad daylight on a New York City sidewalk in world-renowned Times Square recently.

Times Square…where the ball drops during the countdown on every New Year’s Eve, compels angst over governance wittingly dropping the ball in immigration issues, liberally allowing in unvetted sorts who, we see too late, are prone to hostility and violence. These individuals exhibit zero respect for law and order…evinced in the following footage:

Understandably so, politics has ugly connotations and makes people quite uncomfortable and feel disenfranchised. For the most part, law enforcement officers are in the thick of it all. They are increasingly pawned by suited elected officials espousing their decisions as bona fide citizens are subjected to grotesque outcomes.

Taxpayers foot the bill for free goods and services for people with zero rights to be here. Illegal is illegal, no matter how virtuous asylum supporters slice the pie.

The festering migrant crisis playing out in the Big Apple is rife with aspects that are rotten to the core…such as “demands” being made by those influenced to come one, come all.

Seems as though unmet demands of illegal immigrants create a fury of the masses that have no right to demand in the first place. So much for gratitude, eh? We all have some politicos to thank for this still-burgeoning mess. The Windy City is no better off…

New York City, a declared sanctuary city (encompassing five counties with roughly 8.5 million inhabitants), now pleads for federal dollars (U.S. citizen taxpayers). The metropolis is governed by a seeming majority of city council members whose ideologies brazenly undermine public safety and

exacerbates the jobs/lives of NYPD cops,

New York Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis lashed at local government, namely calling out Mayor Eric Adams, a one-time NYPD cop, saying, he “should stop housing and [that ICE agents] should deport these thugs who attacked NYPD officers IMMEDIATELY!”

From the pages of Point27 Ministries: “Surveillance footage released by the New York Police Department shows an NYPD [patrol] officer and lieutenant telling the migrants to move along around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on West 42nd Street in Manhattan, the New York Post reported. A scuffle ensues as the officers are seen trying to subdue someone on the ground.

“The suspects are then seen kicking the officers before running off before being arrested a short time later. Police sources identified the suspects to the Post as Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Juarez Wilson, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.” Other reports claimed a fifth suspect was also arrested.

Per New York Post reporters, “Jhoan Boada, 22, even took time to flip the double bird as he strolled out of Manhattan Criminal Court following his arraignment on charges of assaulting a police officer and obstructing governmental administration for Saturday’s caught-on-camera beating.”

It is no wonder the congressional move to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is seeing the ball move further down-field, getting closer to the zone of intense questioning regarding the gross mismanagement and intentional border flow of illegal immigrants (some of whom are criminally oriented and winding up in Gotham and elsewhere).

Wanna guess what District Attorney Alvin Bragg did with the five arrestees mentioned above?

He charged them all with assault and released them…without bail! What’s it all about, Alvin?

Disgusting!

“Attacks on police officers are becoming an epidemic, and the reason is a revolving door we’re seeing in cases like this one,” said Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry. “It is impossible for police officers to deal effectively with crime and disorder if the justice system can’t or won’t protect us while we do that work.”

Vulnerabilities for Cops and Citizens

Several times among all the videos posted depicting this savagery by illegal migrants, I noticed some of the attackers grabbing for police equipment —firearm, radio, Taser, handcuffs, baton— while the officers were down on the concrete, grappling for their lives.

If any of the gang of attackers managed to unholster a cops’ service weapon or any other less lethal device (Taser) and use it on them, the outcome would be far worse than battered cops.

To expound, if any of these barbaric men were to unloose a police officer’s firearm and use it against them and/or for additional criminal ventures/gains, that means innocent law-abiding folks would become victims, perhaps winding up with a toe tag in the chilled climate of the city morgue. Harsh but possible. Something some city council or county commission members or congresspersons somehow overlook when they wave white flags at people far, far away.

Wondering about police reinforcements (backup) in this beating of police officers, the Times Square geography (“the city that never sleeps”) and its 24/7 bustle with all walks of life has its own NYPD precinct, often seen in posted footage, its red, white, and blue neon lighting a beacon of public safety at the ready.

Hence, either the police lieutenant or patrol officer called in the NYPD numerical code for immediate reinforcements. That is how five of the frenzied thugs involved were swiftly arrested; not easy for cops to do in an area sizzling with vehicular and pedestrian traffic milling about in all directions.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any more confounding for cops on the frontlines…it cuts even deeper.

The only asylum these (any) cop-beating perpetrators deserve is to be in one; they’ve proven it’s merited/warranted.
