Casino fund goes bust

SPRINGFIELD — The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has awarded $56.7 million from the Community Mitigation Fund since 2015.

The money came from a portion of the state’s casino tax on MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor in Everett.
